The first ever WWE Wrestlepalooza is set to air from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, this Saturday. Five matches are currently set for the event.

Cody Rhodes will put the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Drew McIntyre, while CM Punk and AJ Lee will battle World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Moreover, Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY will lock horns for the vacant Women’s World Championship.

The event will also feature The Usos vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. John Cena and Brock Lesnar’s final encounter will kick off the show.

According to PWInsider, the WWE store in Indianapolis is advertising a sixth bout for the show, which is a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women’s Championship between Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill and Nia Jax.

Stratton retained her title against Cargill on SmackDown last week, as the match ended in a Double Count Out. After the match, Jax attacked both Cargill and Stratton

However, it’s possible that the planned match may have been scrapped after Stratton took a bad landing on SmackDown last week. NXT General Manager Ava announced earlier this week that Stratton is not medically cleared to compete, and she was replaced by Lyra Valkyria in the main event of NXT Homecoming.

AIRES CONTINUES WWE PARTNERSHIP WITH FIRST EVER “EMF-FRIENDLY” MATCH AT WRESTLEPALOOZA

“Aires, the leader in EMF protection, continues their partnership with WWE this Saturday September 20, at Wrestlepalooza.

Aires will host the first ever EMF-Friendly match in which an Aires Lifetune Zone Max will be present on each ring post during the Usos v Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed match creating better performance, and a cleaner, EMF-Friendly environment for the athletes.”

For those who don’t know, EMF protection, or electromagnetic shielding, is the practice of using conductive or magnetic materials to block or reduce electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from electromagnetic interference (EMI). It aims to protect electronic equipment from disruption and, in some contexts, to reduce human exposure to potentially harmful radiation from natural and man-made sources.

ESPN Comments On WWE Bringing Back Brock Lesnar Despite Legal Issues

WWE’s ESPN era will kick off this Saturday with the Wrestlepalooza premium live event.

During the media call for this PLE, Jon Alba asked ESPN executives about Brock Lesnar’s WWE return and The Beast’s involvement in Wrestlepalooza despite being named in Vince McMahon’s active lawsuit against Janel Grant.

ESPN executives noted that WWE controls their storylines and wrestlers, and that ESPN has not requested WWE to bring in any talent.
