• Erik of The Viking Raiders is currently out of action with an injury, which has resulted in his tag team partner Ivar getting a singles run.
Ivar has been involved in singles matches against New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as of late. Ivar defeated Kofi in a Viking Rules Match on the October 9th episode of RAW.
According to Fightful Select, Ivar received a lot of praise from WWE Officials, as he competed in a singles match that went over 10 minutes for the first time in 5 years, and he didn’t miss a beat.
WWE is keeping an open mind regarding booking him as a singles talent and he is being prepared for a singles push.
On this week’s RAW, WWE took the first step towards that singles push as they presented Ivar with a new character, which is ‘The One True Warrior’.
