On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 9, 1999, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Slamboree 1999’ LIVE on PPV from the TWA Dome in St. Louis, Missouri.

This was the 7th Slamboree pay-per-view out of 8 that WCW aired between 1993 and 2000.

– RK-BRO (Randy Orton & Riddle) & The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Omos and Elias & Jaxson Ryker

– Charlotte Flair and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler vs. Asuka, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke
