WWE has officially announced that SmackDown will expand to a three-hour format starting January 3, 2025.
The show will continue to air every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network, with the extended runtime offering fans more action and drama.
This change aligns with WWE’s plans to shake up its programming in the new year. The announcement comes as WWE implements broader updates, including Monday Night RAW’s transition to Netflix, although RAW’s runtime details remain undisclosed.
The first three-hour SmackDown episode will broadcast from Phoenix, Arizona.
