Original Plan For Fatal 5 Way Match On This Week’s Raw

As seen on this week’s episode of Raw, a Fatal 5 Way match took place to determine former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka’s opponent for TLC 2017. Emma went on to win that match. You can watch it below:

The original plan for this match was to be a Triple Threat match between Nia Jax, Emma & Alicia Fox and it was supposed to take place on next week’s episode of Raw.

However, WWE decided to make it a Fatal 5 Way and book it on this week’s show. By doing so, Emma now has one more week to address Asuka before they meet in the ring at TLC 2017.

Reason Behind The Cruiserweight Title Changing Hands On Raw, Rey Mysterio Comments

As seen on this week’s Raw, Kalisto defeated Enzo Amore to capture the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in the main event of Raw. The original plan for Raw was for Neville to face Enzo for the Title, but the Title wasn’t supposed to change hands.

When WWE officials decided to put Kalisto in the match, they decided to book the Title change as well in honor of late great Eddie Guerrero’s 50th birthday.
