Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving the Royal Rumble and Logan Paul.

• The Royal Rumble 2024 premium live event is experiencing robust ticket sales, aiming to surpass its own record for the highest paid attendance.

The current record, established this year, stands at $7.3 million in live gate ticket sales with 44,569 attendees.

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:

“Royal Rumble is doing great in ticket sales. They are projecting a gate of close to $8 million. The largest attendance. I think they’re looking for the largest paid attendance or the second largest.

The Alamodome one year ago. They’re looking at 50,000 people for this one. It’s gonna have to be 50,000 sold now, but that’s what they’re hoping for, especially with the announcement of CM Punk in the match.”

The only thing announced for this event so far is that Cody Rhodes and CM Punk will compete in the 30-man Royal Rumble match, as they look to finish their respective stories.

• A tournament to crown the #1 contender for the United States Championship is currently happening on SmackDown.

In the meantime, United States Champion Logan Paul is promoting his PRIME drink.

During a promotional event in Mexico City, KSI put Logan through a Table with an Attitude Adjustment.

After this, popular Twitch streamer Samy Rivera, who is PRIME’s newest signing, pinned the US Champion.
