Backlash 2017 Results - Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship, Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles for the United States Championship, Shinsuke Nakamura's official WWE main roster in-ring debut

Tonight’s Backlash 2017 PPV (from the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois) features a match that none of us thought would main event a WWE PPV one day – “The Viper” Randy Orton vs. “The Maharaja” Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship.

A total of 8 matches (7 main show and 1 kickoff show) were announced for Backlash 2017 and below is the final match-card of the PPV:

WWE Championship Match: Randy Orton (c) vs. Jinder Mahal

United States Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. AJ Styles

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) vs. Breezango

– Dolph Ziggler vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

– Baron Corbin vs. Sami Zayn

– Charlotte Flair, SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi & Becky Lynch vs. The Welcoming Committee (Natalya, Carmella & Tamina Snuka)

– Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan

Kickoff Match: Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English

The Kickoff show starts with “The Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger once again taking on the former NXT Tag Team Champion Aiden English.

Tye Dillinger hits his finisher, Tye Breaker, to win the match and this leaves English in tears.

Winner: Tye Dillinger
