• WWE Begins A Discussion On Current Era Being Better Than Attitude Era

WWE posted a video on their YouTube channel where they compared the Attitude Era to the Current PG Era.

The video is basically another attempt by WWE to make the fans believe that the current era is far superior than any previous era. They have done this a lot in the past few weeks (an example being The Shield being named the #1 faction of all time in their top 10 list over factions like the nWo, Four Horsemen & D-Generation X).

You can watch it below:

During the ending of the video, WWE asked for fans’ opinion on this in the comments section of YouTube and you can check out some of the responses from the fans below:

“Even Comparing the current Era to the Attitude Era in itself is a insult to Wrestling and wrestling fans.?

Attitude For Life, Give me a Thumbs if you Agree.???”

“Attitude Era was captivating, pure entertainment where it was made “MUST SEE TV” Nowadays, it’s too dull, the crowd are busy on their phone, and they don’t have the same rush like those time!”

“Did he just talk about pyro in this era??
Where are they??”

“Attitude Era the best Era because it is the Era of Legends”

“Video: I mean look at that pyro!

Me: What Pyro?”

“This is not even a question..Today’s wrestling is a joke compared to then.”

“I’m born in 2000 and I still feel the attitude era was better!”

“The audience’s interaction and pops, the video games, Monday night wars, the story-lines, the commentary, the larger than life superstars, real hardcore matches, and tense rivalries made the Attitude Era the hottest and watchable era of all time.”

“Why are they even fussing about this …..the attitude era was and always will be the best era in wwe history”

“So it’s nice that I’m in my 30s and got to experience both eras! That said, I looked forward to watching Raw is War every Monday night cause it had more wrestlers that were better behind the mic and there was more matches in 2 hours than the 3 hour Monday Night Raw.

The Current Era feels a lot more scripted and definitely more predictable. It’s nice to see that there’s a lot more shows to watch and having NXT and the training center gives a lot of people an better opportunity at becoming a pro wrestler but without the Attitude Era, there wouldn’t be any of that!

Without Stone Cold WWE would’ve probably failed and WCW would’ve won the Monday Night Wars. So big Thank You to Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon and the rest of the Attitude Era for all of this Entertainment!”
