• WWE Being Sold To ESPN & FOX By Mid-May?

Former WWE on-screen manager Dutch Mantell (fka as Zeb Colter) says that WWE is in talks with FOX and ESPN to sell the rights of the company and the WWE Network.

Below is what he tweeted:

“HUGE NEWS: Any truth to this. Overheard directly out of WWE Stamford is that a deal is being negotiated to sell WWE & the network to ESPN and FOX by as early as Mid May.”

Vince McMahon has always been open to the idea of selling the company as he has been in a “never say never” situation about it.

During his earnings call last week, McMahon talked about the possibility of selling the WWE Network to FOX or ESPN.

However, WrestlingNewsco recently reached out to their source, which claimed that there’s no truth to what Mantell is claiming.
