• WWE CEO Promises Surprises For WrestleMania 39
WrestleMania 39, the biggest WWE event of 2023, is almost here. It will take place this Saturday & Sunday, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California (which was the original location of WrestleMania 37).
The Miz will be the Host of the show and the most anticipated match on the card is the main event of Night 2, where Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes.
On ESPN’s First Take, WWE CEO Nick Khan said fans can expect a “bunch of surprises” at WrestleMania Hollywood.
Some of surprises that are rumored to take place include Stone Cold Steve Austin coming out and possibly doing an impromptu match, LA Knight getting his moment in LA, Gangrel showing up, Trish Stratus turning on her team…
Also, there’s a locker room set up for rapper Lil Uzi Vert backstage, so it’s possible he’ll perform at the show.

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on March 31, 1996, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania 12’ LIVE on PPV from the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim in Anaheim, California.
This was the 12th annual WrestleMania event with the inaugural WrestleMania happening in 1985. Even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.
