Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving WrestleMania 40 and Vince McMahon.

• WrestleMania 40 will begin an hour earlier. Here’s what WrestleVotes reported:

“Source states WWE has made the decision to change the WrestleMania start time. The main card will now begin at 7pm EST, presumably with a kickoff show starting at 5pm EST. This will be for both nights of WrestleMania.”

The only match confirmed for WrestleMania 40 so far is IYO SKY defending the WWE Women’s Championship against 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Bayley.

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will also take place at WrestleMania 40, but hasn’t been announced yet.

WWE will officially announce this match at Thursday’s WrestleMania 40 press event in Las Vegas.

• The Wall Street Journal reports that prosecutors in New York are investigating $exual assault and $ex trafficking allegations against Vince McMahon.

Last summer, a search warrant was executed for McMahon’s phone, and he was subpoenaed regarding allegations including r@pe, $ex trafficking, $exual assault, commercial $ex transactions, harassment, or discrimination.

The grand jury subpoena mentions Grant and at least four other women who settled with McMahon over $exual misconduct, and these women have been interviewed by prosecutors.

Here’s what WSJ reported:

“The other women named in the grand jury subpoena include a WWE contractor whom McMahon allegedly sent unsolicited nude photos and $exually harassed; a former WWE wrestler who said McMahon coerced her into giving him oral $ex; former WWE referee Rita Chatterton, who publicly accused McMahon of raping her; a spa manager who said McMahon assaulted her at a Southern California resort; and a former WWE employee who alleged the head of talent relations at the company at the time, John Laurinaitis, demoted her after she broke off an affair with him.”

McMahon issued the following statement to WSJ regarding this:

“I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.”
