• WWE Considered Major Opponent For Aleister Black At WrestleMania 36

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials considered doing Brock Lesnar vs. Aleister Black for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36, but Drew McIntyre was chosen in the end:

“Aleister Black was in the running for the Lesnar match. The decision was made to go with McIntyre, and it’s probably the right decision considering it’s probably early for Aleister Black, but he was absolutely in the running for that decision.”

As we have noted before, both McIntyre & Black are guys RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman is high on and their future is bright in WWE.
