During DX’s WWE Hall of Fame 2019 induction, “The Game” Triple H took some shots at All Elite Wrestling.

Triple H was talking about how there are some rules where the name of Vince McMahon can’t be mentioned during their speech or they would be fired.

Billy Gunn, who now works for All Elite Wrestling, said that Vince can’t fire him.

This led to Triple H saying the following:

“Billy, let’s be honest. He [Vince] would buy that piss-ant company just to fire you again.”

You can watch this below:

Triple H also said that nowadays people feel more important by putting “EVP” in front of their names. This was an obvious dig at Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega being Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling.

Shawn Michaels also made an AEW mention during this segment when he said the following:

“You can always count on ‘ol Billy Gunn to over-promise and under-deliver. We thank you for being out here and being ‘ALL IN’.”

It should be noted that WWE has cut out these shots at AEW from the official WWE Hall of Fame 2019 video.

Another part that was cut out was Bret Hart getting attacked.
