• WWE Dealing With Another COVID-19 Outbreak

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE is dealing with another COVID-19 outbreak in NXT and there are a lot of positive tests on the black-and-gold brand.

Fightful Select is reporting that some NXT wrestlers have been told to quarantine, while some have been pulled from this Wednesday’s episode of NXT.

It was also noted that Vince McMahon wasn’t happy after someone in the company was seen without a mask at a public place:

“There was a particular incident of a wrestler or staff member at amusement parks unmasked weeks back that set Vince McMahon off after he had made it clear he wanted wrestlers taking more precautions as a result of COVID-19 risks.”

WWE previously announced the following for this week’s episode of NXT:

– Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher vs. Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner)

– Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Leon Ruff

– NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin returns to confront NXT (Interim) Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar

– Austin Theory vs. Dexter Lumis

– LA Knight makes his NXT in-ring debut

It should be noted that there are no previews available for the Scott vs. Ruff and Ciampa & Thatcher vs. Imperium match on WWE’s website (while previews for other matches & segments are available), so it could be possible that these matches are no longer going to take place because the talent involved in these matches possibly tested positive.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
