WWE Discussing A Big Match For John Cena

John Cena Payback WWE PPV 5 WrestleFeed App

John Cena returned to WWE on last night’s episode of SmackDown before Payback and thanked the fans. During his promo, Cena was interrupted by Jimmy Uso, so Cena had to give Uso an Attitude Adjustment.

The 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion is set to host tonight’s WWE Payback Premium Live Event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Cena is being advertised for many upcoming WWE events and he’s going to be on the road with the company for two months at least.

According to PWInsider, WWE is also discussing having Cena at the Fastlane premium live event in Indianapolis next month.

It’s unknown what Cena will do at the event, but him competing there looks like a possibility.

WRKD Wrestling reported that WWE has discussed doing John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes doesn’t have any feud going on right now, so WWE may have him feud with Cena until Fastlane.

When Cena appeared on RAW in March earlier this year and raised Cody’s hand, Cody said something in his ear.

The American Nightmare later revealed that he told Cena he wants to face him in a singles match, and Cena told him that he can’t guarantee it at this point in his career.

As of this writing, Cena’s next match is scheduled to take place next Friday, on September 8th, at WWE Superstar Spectacle in India, where he will team up with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to take on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci in a tag team match.
