Bobby Lashley returned to WWE programming back in July with a new character and formed a faction with The Street Profits.
The All Mighty wrestled his first match on television in 5 months on last night’s episode of SmackDown against United States Champion Rey Mysterio, which he won.
At tonight’s Fastlane Premium Live Event, Lashley will team up with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins to take on the LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and a surprise oppoennt) in a 6-Man Tag Team match.
WWE may be planning to add another member to Lashley’s faction, as Fightful Select is reporting that the company has discussed making recent NXT call-up Odyssey Jones the fourth member of the faction.
There’s a possibility that Jones joins the faction tonight at Fastlane by helping Lashley and Street Profits get the win over the LWO.
WWE called up Jones to the main roster during the Draft earlier this year and had him join the RAW brand. However, he hasn’t been used on television at all.
He hasn’t wrestled on television since facing DIJAK on the April 4th episode of WWE NXT. His latest match took place last month at the WWE Superstar Spectacle event in India, where he lost to Bron Breakker.
