1. WWE Possibly Doing 2 PPVs Every Month After Brand Split
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler appeared at the 38th annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois and noted to the fans that WWE would be doing 2 PPV events (WWE Network events now) every month after the Brand Split, which happens on July 19th when SmackDown goes live.
Out of the 2 PPV events a month, one would be for Raw and other would be for SmackDown. However, Jerry noted that both the rosters will appear on the original 4 PPVs: Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series & WrestleMania.
Lawler has reported accurate things in the past as well, like SmackDown going live, moving to the USA Network & more.
