7. Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston
The New Day’s Xavier Woods suffered an Achilles injury while teaming with Big E against The Revival at a WWE live event in Sydney, Australia in October last year.
Woods was expected to miss 6 months to 1 year of action. Woods should be fine to return now, as it’s going to be almost a year since his injury by the Draft. Besides, he has returned to WWE programming as part of Talking Smack.
There’s a possibility that he returns to the ring now.
Speaking of Woods, his other partner, Kofi Kingston, suffered a kayfabe injury and had to be out of action for 6 weeks. WWE could surprise the fans by bringing them back at the Draft, and they might have an even bigger surprise.
WrestleVotes recently reported that WWE had a plan to split The New Day in a unique way, which would have seen Kingston and Big E being moved to different brands, with Woods working on both brands as a manager for them.
While this idea was turned down during a meeting, you never know what WWE might pull off at this point to shock the fans.
