Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving the WrestleMania 40 main event, NXT and a RAW stable:

• As we have reported before, Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes II for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is expected to be the main event of WrestleMania 40 – Night 2 on April 7, 2024.

Now, WWE has dropped a hint regarding The American Nightmare headlining WrestleMania again, by dropping the following graphic for the Road to WrestleMania live events, which only features Cody:

• WWE NXT will move to The CW Network in October 2024.

According to PWInsider, WWE will make around $35-$37 million a year from this new deal, which is up from what they were making with NXT on the USA Network, which is believed to be $15 million per year.

Sean Ross Sapp later reported:

“WWE got a 70 percent increase on rights fees for NXT, and they weren’t getting anything five years ago. All for content they were already producing.”

• As seen on this week’s episode of RAW, The Creed Brothers & Ivy Nile officially signed their RAW contracts.

Creed Brothers then went on to defeat DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano), while Ivy competed in the #1 contenders Battle Royal.

These 3 were together known as “Diamond Mine” on NXT, but WWE has dropped that stable name now and aren’t using it on the main roster.
