• WWE Drops Heel Turn Angle On RAW

On this week’s Legends Night episode of RAW, Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans defeated WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Asuka with some help from WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair.

Ric accidentally tripped Charlotte and this resulted in the Tag Team Champions losing the match. Lacey kissed Ric after the match. You can watch it below:

Charlotte then got in Ric’s face and told him to go away.

Ric then took to Twitter on Tuesday to apologize to his daughter for what happened.

He wrote:

“Sorry I Messed Up. It Won’t Be The First Time And Probably Won’t Be The Last. A Father And Daughter’s Bond Is Unbreakable. Thank You For Letting Me Come Visit!

@MsCharlotteWWE @WWE #LegendsNight”

Charlotte accepted the apology in the following tweet:

It was expected that WWE may carry this angle forward, which would have seen Charlotte turn heel, but it seems like it was just a stunt for Legends Night, and it won’t continue any further.
