• WWE Drops New Merchandise For The Rock A Week Before The Royal Rumble
We reported that The Rock could be feeling like he hasn’t got enough time to get himself in shape for a WrestleMania main event, and might be telling WWE he won’t do it.
The Rock is heavily rumored to challenge his real life cousin Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event on night 2 of WrestleMania 39 Hollywood, and could also return as early as the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 28th.
According to the Wrestling Observer, neither scenario is likely going to happen, but nothing has been confirmed at this point in time.
However, it was noted that WWE Shop has released multiple new merchandise items for WWF Legend The Rock, just in time for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium-live-event, so it seems like they are at least considering the possibility of an appearance by The Great One and want to still keep it as an option.

The Wrestling Observer reported the following about this situation:
“Those close to the situation have noted WWE coming out with new Rock merchandise, but said that is more related to the 30th anniversary of RAW.”
