• WWE Employees Reportedly Spreading False Stories About AEW

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer was recently interviewed for a Pro-Wrestling documentary.

During this interview, Meltzer revealed that the director asked him if it’s true that AEW President Tony Khan bought out all the tickets for AEW’s first-day sold-out events to make the company’s product look hot and in demand.

Meltzer confirmed that the story is false and noted that this rumor was spread by someone in WWE to make AEW look bad (either spread within WWE talent, or told to WWE talent by someone working for the company).
