• WWE Ends WrestleMania 36 Talks With Ronda Rousey
According to The Dirty Sheets, WWE officials wanted to do Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36, but talks with Rousey have fallen apart.
Rousey was pencilled in to win the Women’s Royal Rumble 2020 match with a surprise return, but the McMahons have ended their talks with Rousey, who is neither pregnant nor injured at the moment.
Rousey will now get replaced by former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler in these plans, with Shayna now being scheduled to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match next year and then going on to challenge “The Man” for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
