• WWE Evaluating Major Changes To Commentary Lineup
The world of professional wrestling is built on passion, athleticism, and storytelling. One of the key elements that brings these stories to life is the commentary team. A good commentator can elevate a match, provide context, and draw the audience into the action. In WWE, one man has been making waves with his exceptional commentary skills: Corey Graves. Graves has been filling in for Pat McAfee on WWE RAW’s Netflix broadcasts, teaming up with Michael Cole to bring the excitement of the ring to the viewers. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many insiders praising his energy, insight, and professionalism. His work alongside Konnan at the WWE Worlds Collide event was particularly impressive, showcasing his ability to adapt to different styles and provide expert analysis.
Despite his success, Graves remains a key voice on NXT, calling the action each Tuesday night on The CW alongside Vic Joseph and Booker T. However, there’s a growing sentiment within the company that he’s being underutilized, according to WrestleVotes. Some insiders believe that Graves is too good to be relegated to a secondary role and that he deserves a permanent spot on one of WWE’s flagship shows.
It’s worth noting that Pat McAfee’s mainstream popularity is undeniable. His charisma and personality have helped bring in new fans and increase WWE’s visibility. However, Graves’ passion and expertise make him a compelling choice for a permanent commentary role. His ability to connect with the audience and provide insightful commentary would undoubtedly enhance the viewing experience for fans.

• Released WWE Star Will Join AEW Soon
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn is reportedly on the verge of joining All Elite Wrestling. According to WrestleVotes, Dawn was recently spotted backstage at an AEW television taping, with internal sources noting that her debut with the company is imminent.
Dawn’s potential arrival in AEW would be a significant addition to the promotion’s growing women’s division. With her supernatural persona and in-ring versatility, she could be a perfect fit for the company. Her style and character work made her a standout performer in WWE’s NXT UK and NXT, as well as during her short stint on the main roster as part of the dark-themed tag team “The Unholy Union” alongside Alba Fyre.
Isla Dawn’s WWE Career
– Dawn signed with WWE in 2018 and began her journey with the NXT UK brand before transitioning to NXT in the US in October 2022.
– Alongside Alba Fyre, she captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles and later the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Clash at the Castle in June 2024.
– Dawn was released from her WWE contract in February 2025 after a seven-year run with the company.
Upcoming Matches and Future Plans
Before joining AEW, Dawn has a couple of independent matches lined up:
– Northeast Wrestling’s ‘Wrestling Under The Stars’ event on July 19 against Aleah James is no longer confirmed, however she is booked for a match against Aleah James at the Burning Heart show on August 3.
While AEW has yet to make an official announcement, the expectation is that Dawn will begin working with the promotion in the near future, potentially teaming up with stars like Julia Hart and Skye Blue. If signed, Dawn would join a growing list of former WWE stars who have successfully transitioned to AEW, including Toni Storm, who is the current AEW Women’s World Champion.
