• WWE taped this week’s RAW on Sunday in Saudi Arabia and aired it at the usual time on Monday.
According to PWInsider, WWE faced big issues while airing RAW in Canada this week, where Sportsnet aired the episode in Canada without any audio — a noticeable and significant error.
Two new #1 contenders were crowned on this week’s RAW. IYO SKY won a Battle Royal to earn a Women’s World Championship match against Liv Morgan. Damian Priest won a Fatal 4-Way match to earn a World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther.
Speaking of Gunther, he was interviewed by Jackie Redmond backstage and she asked The Ring General about his loss to WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Ludwig Kaiser got angry at Jackie for asking this question and said that Cody got lucky.
However, Gunther disagreed and said the following:
“Cody and I might disagree on a lot of things, but at Crown Jewel, he didn’t get lucky and he’s not undeserving. That night, he was the better man.”
Gunther said he has to do better after Saturday’s loss and told Ludwig he has to do better as well. Ludwig wasn’t happy when Gunther praised Cody.

• Last week’s November 1st episode of AEW Rampage drew 172,000 viewers with a 0.05 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is down from previous week’s 241,000 viewers with a 0.09 rating.
This was the lowest viewership ever for Rampage and the Wrestling Observer reported that the show faced no major competition.
On the same night, WWE SmackDown drew 1.43 million viewers with a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from previous week’s 1.42 million viewers with a 0.43 rating.
