• WWE Finally Confirms Sasha Banks’ Departure

At the NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 pay-per-view, former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks made her debut in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

After Kairi Sane defeated Tam Nakano to retain the IWGP Women’s Championship, Sasha came out and confronted Kairi.

Sasha, now going by the name of ‘Mercedes Mone’, announced that she will face KAIRI for the IWGP Women’s Title at Battle in the Valley on February 18th.

WWE has now confirmed Sasha’s departure by moving her to the Alumni section.

It should also be noted that her tag team partner Naomi (who walked out along with Sasha) is still listed on the active roster on their website.
