• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 88th birthday of Old School Wrestling Veteran Klondike Bill (Real name: William Soloweyko).

After Klondike Bill was trained by Stu Hart in the famous Dungeon of the Hart Family house in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he wrestled all over the territories during the 60s & 70s, performing for such promotions as Calgary Stampede Wrestling, the World Wide Wrestling Federation, Jim Crockett Promotions, NWA Tri-State, NWA Georgia, NWA Central States, among many others.

When Bill retired from active professional wrestling, he became a road agent for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling.

Despite passing away in 2000, some of the younger fans also got to know him, when Old School NWA/WCW commentator Tony Schiavone continued to mention him in many episodes of his famous podcast “What Happened When”, also featuring podcast host Conrad Thompson.

• WWE & FOX Reach An Agreement Over Brock Lesnar & The Fiend

As we have noted before, FOX wanted Brock Lesnar to be a part of SmackDown to give the show a sports feel as Lesnar is the most legitimate athlete in WWE.

However, Lesnar ended up becoming a part of RAW soon after the Draft, which was the opposite of what WWE and FOX agreed to.

At one point, FOX thought they were getting both Brock Lesnar and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt on SmackDown, but WWE only put Bray Wyatt on SmackDown after the Hell In A Cell 2019 disaster, as they wanted to keep him away from Seth Rollins.

According to The Dirty Sheets, WWE and FOX have reached an agreement over the trade between Brock Lesnar and The Fiend as WWE officials have convinced FOX officials that The Fiend is the bigger acquisition for them, given how he’s red-hot right now coupled with Lesnar’s limited availability.

FOX officials have also acknowledged Fiend’s popularity and also understand why it’s the right move because if Lesnar was the top champion on SmackDown, then WWE would be forced to go with Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 36, and that’s a match that WWE can’t do again.

The Fiend vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship is now scheduled to close out WrestleMania 36.
