• WWE Had NXT Underground In Works (Details)
It seems like WWE is planning to produce more content for NXT, as Fightful Select is reporting that more content for the brand is on the way, but it has been delayed due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in the company.
It was noted that “NXT Underground” was an idea pitched before RAW Underground, but it wasn’t going to be anything like RAW Underground, outside of having peers watch the show. The idea was discussed last year, but not everyone was in favour of it.
There was a pilot for the event, which was shot at the WWE Performance Center in summer of 2019, which was supposed to be the regular venue for NXT Underground.
Some EVOLVE signing and unused NXT wrestlers were going to be a part of it, but its future is uncertain as of now.
