• WWE Had To Take FOX’s Permission To Rename The Club
As we all know by now, The Club (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) is now known as The O.C.
According to Brad Shepard, WWE officials had to take permission from FOX for this name change as The OC was a show that used to air on the FOX Network from 2003 to 2007:
“A huge part in WWE getting the green light for The OC was due to FOX’s blessing. You may or may not remember The OC was their show. So yes, FOX which will begin hosting SmackDown Live, gave WWE the blessing to use The OC for Styles, Gallows, and Anderson.”
