PWInsider is reporting that late great wrestling legend Rick Rude is finally scheduled to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
Below are his career accomplishments:
– 3x WCW International World Heavyweight Champion
– 1x WCW United States Heavyweight Champion
– 1x NWA World Tag Team Champion
– 1x NWA American Heavyweight Champion
– 1x WCWA Television Champion
– 1x WCWA World Heavyweight Champion
– 1x WWF Intercontinental Champion
– 1x Slammy Award winner
Rude’s in-ring career ended in 1994 after he suffered a back injury during a match with Sting. You can watch his final match below:
Rude passed away in April 1999 at the age of 40 due to heart failure.
PWInsider also revealed that former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page is scheduled to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 as well.
