Taker said The Godfather was a big influence on him, but not a positive influence. They fought over a lot of things, but he knew Godfather always had his back.
Taker then addressed the B.S.K. and assured them he’s going to take their stories to the grave.
He then recalled his memories with B.S.K. co-founder Yokozuna and Brian “Crush” Adams. He said a day never goes by where he doesn’t think about Brian.
Brian once called Taker to come to him so they could learn how to break bricks with their bare hands, but he didn’t know it was going to be their last meeting, as Brian passed away after some time.
Taker said he didn’t realize at the time why he said yes to breaking bricks, but now it makes sense.
Taker then paid tribute to Paul Bearer and Kane. He said the greatest wrestling story ever told is Undertaker vs. Kane. Taker then joked Glenn Jacobs wants him to call him Mr. Mayor now, but told him to not get hot. He said he didn’t get hot when Kane stole all his moves (laughed). But said Kane performed them better than him.
Taker said his 2nd mental signature move was taught by his father – always show respect to everyone, no matter how high your status is.
A fan shouted “I love you” and Taker replied “I love you, too”.
His 3rd mental signature move is loyalty goes a long way. Taker thanked Dusty, Harley, Bruno, Andre, Bret Hart and Ric Flair for paving the way for his generation and generations to come.
He said without his meeting with Bruce Prichard, there would be no Undertaker.
He thanked Terry Anderson, the woman who designed all his iconic costumes. He thanked the director of The Last Ride. He thanked all his Doctors who have fixed him up.
For his final mental signature move, he recalls getting 15 minutes and 3rd card spot at WrestleMania 25. Due to the disrespect shown, Taker and Shawn Michaels tore the house down to make a statement.
Taker thanked HBK for his friendship and giving him one of the best matches of his career.
So his 3rd mental move is – never be contempt. Always dream big no matter what you’ve already achieved and strive to be better. This principle came into effect at WrestleMania 27 & 28 with Triple H.
Taker thanked HHH for reminding him for who he is when his confidence was at an all time low. His words got him through the rest of his career. Their WrestleMania 28 moment with HBK was one of the proudest moments of his career, and it was truly the End of an Era.
Taker said he’s proud of his son Gunner. He said his daughter Kaia is perfect the way she is and Kaia shed a tear. Taker then put over his youngest son too.
Taker recalled Sid Vicious mocking his mother during a match and his mother almost got in the ring to save him. He said that’s how his mom got banned from wrestling.
Taker said he misses his father. Taker said his Mom used to ask him when he’ll that that ring. Taker then said:
“Mom, we did it.”
