2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart took to Instagram and revealed that he had to cancel a scheduled public appearance due to being in poor health.

Here’s what The Hitman posted:

“Dear Friends, Family & Fans. Unfortunately, after recent travel I am currently not feeling well & as per doctors orders I was asked to say home & rest.

It saddens me greatly as I was genuinely looking forward to seeing all my beloved friends, family, and fans this Saturday.

I deeply apologize for not being able to make it to the event as planned.

However, I am immensely grateful for the generosity of everyone who contributed to the veterans food band (Sic) for Calgary.

Your support means the world to me, and I promise to make it up to you in the future.

Please understand that my absence is due to circumstances beyond my control, and I appreciate your consideration and continued support.”

Bret Hart wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1984 until he got screwed in Montreal at the end of the Survivor Series 1997 pay-per-view.

During his time in the WWF, The Hitman won the WWF World Heavyweight Championship (5x), the WWF Intercontinental Championship (1x) and the WWF World Tag Team Championship (2x), but is also the only 2-time WWF King of the Ring in history.

He was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 and again as part of The Hart Foundation in 2019.

Get well soon, Bret!
