• WWE Hall Of Famer Set To Finalize Deal To Work AEW’s Double Or Nothing PPV
During a recent interview with Inside the Ropes, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross revealed that he’s finalizing deal with All Elite Wrestling to work their Double Or Nothing PPV in May.
Below is what Good Ol’ JR said:
“We’re trying to get all the I’s dotted, and T’s crossed, and hopefully my tenure will eventually lead me to AEW, who we’ve been negotiating with for quite some time. That’s my goal. Start to work there and be part of their presentation in May and in Vegas during May for Double or Nothing.
Vince was very supportive of me leaving and getting back in the game so to speak. If anyone can appreciate being active, it’s him. He’s still on TV at 73. We have the same wiring in that regard. No controversy, and hopefully it’ll be finalized by Wednesday.”
As we noted before, JR’s contract with WWE expired at the end of March.
Big day…it’s the final day of my contract with @WWE after 26 years.
