• OLD SCHOOL HISTORY (August 31, 1983) – Terry Funk’s First Ever Retirement

On this day in 1983, we witnessed the very first time when Old School Wrestling Legend “retired”.

It happened during an AJPW All Japan Pro Wrestling special event in Tokyo, Japan.

As many times as he retired since that day – i lost count of it a long time ago – he was always good for coming out of retirement for yet “one more run”.

Now a Medical Emergency to the Bad Guy himself. This will not stop us from having one hell of a show and we hope to see you all this Saturday at Rival Pro: 1 Year Anniv.”
