This Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina will feature a special homecoming for legendary tag team The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, at the Bojangles Coliseum.
According to PWInsider, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was also scheduled for a cameo on this episode, but is no longer scheduled to appear, with no reason provided for the change.
This development follows recent praise from Flair for AEW President Tony Khan, whom he described as a “genuine” and “very caring” person during an interview on The Five Star Podcast:
“I think he’s one of the greatest, not just great promoter, I think he’s one of the greatest people, human beings I’ve ever met. Very caring, genuine guy. And he’s got more money than God.”
