On this day in 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.
It was pre-taped at the Alltel Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas and featured pre-taped matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 2001’ PPV.

• WWE Has 2 Options For Becky Lynch At WrestleMania 36
According to Wrestlingnewsco, WWE officials have two options for Becky Lynch’s opponent at WrestleMania 36:
– Ronda Rousey
– Shayna Baszler
WWE wants to do a singles match between Becky & Ronda. If Ronda agrees to return, then the plan would be for her to win the Women’s Royal Rumble 2020 match and then go on to face “The Man” for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
However, if WWE can’t secure Ronda, Shayna Baszler is WWE’s back-up plan. WWE already planted seeds for Becky vs. Shayna at Survivor Series 2019, when Becky attacked Shayna after the main event.
Shayna is expected to lose the NXT Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley next week and then move up to the WWE main roster soon.
