On this day in 1987, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, New York and included matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Survivor Series 1987’ PPV.

• WWE Has An Interesting Plan Coming Up For 24/7 Championship
As seen on this week’s SmackDown, 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick pinned R-Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.
Maverick then noted that he’s going to get married because he’s the champion now.
According to the Wrestling Observer, R-Truth is now expected to crash Maverick’s wedding and regain the 24/7 Championship. This is the reason why Maverick’s wedding was brought up multiple times on WWE TV.
If WWE ends up doing this, expect this video to do huge views on WWE’s YouTube channel. R-Truth pinning Jinder Mahal during a flight did 8.6 million views on YouTube (most for a WWE 24/7 Title video on YouTube so far).
