Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day, involving Hulk Hogan and Adam Cole.

• On January 23rd 1984, Hulk Hogan defeated The Iron Sheik to become the WWF World Heavyweight Champion for the first time ever and changed the professional wrestling business forever.

This month will mark the 40th anniversary of that legendary moment and WWE has big plan for the Hulkster.

Here’s what Wrestlevotes reported:

“WWE plans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hulkamania this month with various new merchandise items & collectibles for Hulk Hogan.

I’m told an appearance by Hogan is not out of the question but also not planned as of now.”

Hulk Hogan’s last appearance on WWE TV was on the 30th anniversary episode of RAW in January 2023, where he kicked off the show.

• On this week’s AEW Dynamite, “The Devil” Adam Cole said one day a lot of people in the locker room will thank him because now MJF is gone for good, and will not be coming back.

Cole revealed that the name of his new faction is The Undisputed Kingdom.

Adam declared that Matt Taven & Mike Bennett already hold gold (ROH Tag Team Championship), so now Roderick Strong will go after the AEW International Championship and Wardlow will go after the AEW World Championship.

Cole also noted that when the time is right and he has completely healed, Wardlow will surrender the AEW World Title to him.

Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & The Gunns) attacked Cole and his men. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn joined in to help Bullet Club Gold.
