Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.
• WWE Has No Plans To Turn Top Star Into A Heel
Cody Rhodes will remain a babyface in WWE, despite a pitch for a heel turn earlier this year.
According to Fightful Select, WWE had discussed turning Rhodes heel — the same heel storyline that eventually involved The Rock and John Cena. However, people close to Rhodes pushed back on the idea. Reasons included his strong merchandise sales, ticket sales, and consistent positive crowd reactions.
Even after The Rock mentioned the possibility of revisiting the idea during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Fightful reports that, as of WrestleMania 41, there were no plans to make Rhodes a heel.
Some within WWE still oppose the heel turn, noting how valuable Rhodes is in his current babyface role.

• Karrion Kross Provides A Big Update For His Fans
Karrion Kross, who has been gaining momentum through his character work on WWE TV and social media, has announced some good news for his supporters. Due to vocal fan demand, his new merch will be available for purchase at arenas.
In a video shared on X, Kross explained that after recent RAW events, many fans asked where they could buy his T-shirt. While he directed them to WWEShop, fans expressed their desire to buy it at the venue. Karrion understood this, comparing it to buying a band shirt at a concert to remember the experience.
He also recalled wanting to wear his favorite wrestlers’ shirts as a child. Because of this, Kross spoke with someone at WWE to make in-arena merchandise sales a reality, and they responded quickly.
He announced that starting next week’s RAW, his shirts will be available at the arenas. Karrion thanked the fans, stating, “They heard you loud and clear… you guys made this happen completely. I don’t think I’d have had a case if you didn’t write about it online. They see you, and they hear you.” He also noted, “Last time this happened was in NXT… so it’s been a minute.”
Furthermore, Kross mentioned that the Premiere Collectibles autograph book sold out due to fan requests and has now been restocked. He ended his message by saying, “see you Monday.”
Very good news…
