On this day in 2008, we lost Old School WWF Enhancement Talent “Mad Dog” Mike Bell (Real name: Michael Bell) at the young age of 37 due to an inhalation induced heart attack.
Mike Bell wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1992 till 1995 and again sporadically until 2003.
He was also featured in his brother’s documentary movie ‘Bigger, Stronger, Faster’.

• SmackDown Viewership Stays Below 2 Million For Second Consecutive Week
This week’s episode of SmackDown Live, which featured a WrestleMania 34 rematch between Charlotte Flair & Asuka, drew 1.98 million viewers. This is up from previous week’s 1.95 million viewers.
In comparison, this week’s RAW drew 2.19 million viewers. This is down from previous week’s 2.29 million viewers and set a new record for the lowest viewership ever in the history of RAW.

• WWE Interested In Signing Former ROH World Champion
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are interested in signing former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle. If WWE is able to sign him, then initial plans would be for him to work in NXT and be a main event talent in WWE’s developmental brand.
Word going on is that Vince McMahon could become a fan of Castle’s gimmick and it could mean good things for his future in the WWE.
