• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (July 23, 2012) – Raw 1000
On this day in Pro Wrestling history on July 23, 2012, WWE Monday Night Raw’s 1000th episode took place at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri with 18,308 fans in attendance. This show marked the beginning of permanent 3 hour Raws.
On this show, DX reunited, The Rock announced that he will wrestle the WWE Champion at Royal Rumble 2013, The Undertaker returned, John Cena became the first person ever to unsuccessfully cash-in the Money in the Bank briefcase, and CM Punk turned heel.
Below are the results from Raw 1000:
– Rey Mysterio, Sheamus & Sin Cara def. Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler.
– Brodus Clay def. Jack Swagger.
– The Miz def. Christian to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
– Lita def. Heath Slater in a no disqualification match.
– John Cena def. WWE Champion CM Punk by DQ after Big Show interfered. Punk retains the title. The Rock comes out to save Cena from Big Show, Punk ends up attacking The Rock and turns heel.

• WWE Introducing More Titles Soon?
WWE may be planning something big for its superstars. Some new championship belts may be introduced soon in the different divisions of WWE.
According to Belt Fan Dan, some new title belts are completed or in the process of being completed. Belt Fan Dan has broken many stories about new titles being introduced in the past.
Triple H announced a couple of weeks ago that the NXT UK Brand will be forming soon with Johnny Saint as its General Manager. He also announced that the brand will feature women’s and tag team wrestling as well. Fan Dan reports that the WWE UK Women’s Championship and the WWE UK Tag Team Championship belts are almost done.
WWE is also preparing the 205 Live Tag Team Championship belts. However, it is unknown when the company plans to introduce the title belts. Dan also noted that there have been numerous times when WWE has ordered belts but for some reason they were not used.
Apart from these, Stephanie McMahon is expected to announce the arrival of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles as a part of her historic announcement on tonight’s RAW.
