Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Royal Rumble 2025 and Carlito.
• Trish Stratus’ status for Royal Rumble 2025 remains uncertain, but WWE is reportedly bringing her to Indianapolis for the event.
WrestleVotes revealed that there have been discussions about Stratus appearing on the PLE. While it’s unclear if that means a spot in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, the possibility has been discussed.
With only a handful of women’s legends still active, Stratus remains a key name, and if both sides agree, a return seems likely.
“I know it’s been discussed. I know she will be in Indianapolis. I know WWE is bringing her in; don’t know specifically if it is for a Rumble appearance, but I know it’s been discussed. I mean, there’s only so many women’s legends they can call on, especially those that can still do it. And she’s one of them. So if she’s willing, and they’re willing, I say better than a good shot, she’s there.”
Trish last wrestled in WWE at Payback 2023, where she lost to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage match.
