• WWE Is Now Promoting “Final Time Ever” Match At Wrestlepalooza
Wrestlepalooza on Saturday, September 20th, will mark the beginning of a new era in WWE as the company’s Premium Live Events will start airing on ESPN for viewers in the USA. WWE has announced some huge matches for the event including John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar, and IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the vacant Women’s World Championship.
WWE is now billing John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza as their final encounter. The company wrote the following about the match on its website:
“John Cena and Brock Lesnar set to wage war one final time at Wrestlepalooza.”
It seems like the Cena vs. Lesnar feud will only have one match this time and end at Wrestlepalooza. The 17-time World Champion will only have five appearances left in his retirement tour after his showdown with The Beast Incarnate.
It is likely that WWE will also add CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, and The Usos vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to the Wrestlepalooza match-card in the coming weeks.
• WrestleMania 42 Challenge Laid Down For Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins retained the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WWE Clash In Paris after Becky Lynch showed up to help her husband take down CM Punk.
Following the main event, the couple had a heated exchange with Post Malone at ringside. In an interview with GQ, Post Malone talked about the incident and expressed his desire to face the leader of The Vision at WrestleMania 42 next year.
“I did (attend a WWE show). I think me and Seth Rollins got beef – you can put that on paper, too. Me, Seth Rollins. WrestleMania 2026. Come on, baby.
I’ve always wanted to do that. I figured if I had a different musculature and different career path, I would love to have been a WWE wrestler.”
The singer was a playable character in WWE 2K24. He could be the next celebrity to turn into a pro wrestler after the success of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul.
