WWE Is Planning A Major Debut On NXT’s Premiere On The CW Network

WWE NXT will move to The CW Network on October 1st, with the episode taking place in Chicago.

According to insider source PWN, former TNA / NJPW / ROH Tag Team Champions Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) are scheduled to make their debut on the NXT brand on this highly-awaited episode.

So far, WWE has announced the following for this episode:

– Ethan Page (c) vs. Trick Williams for the NXT Championship

– Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Giulia for the NXT Women’s Championship

– Wes Lee vs. TNA X-Division Champion Zachary Wentz in a Street Fight

– CM Punk will appear

– The Miz will host Miz TV

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill will appear

This week’s episode of NXT drew 628,000 viewers with a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is slightly down from last week’s 631,000 viewers with a 0.17 rating.

According to Wrestlenomics, the show peaked at a viewership of 709,000, which was for Giulia vs. Chelsea Green. This was Giulia’s debut match in NXT, which she won.

An X user posted that Giulia is already a top draw on the brand. This led to Chelsea tweeting the following:

“I waited 10 years for recognition, I guess I can wait a little longer.”
