CM Punk has shifted his focus back to his feud with Seth Rollins after wrapping up his rivalry with Drew McIntyre and aiding Roman Reigns & The OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames. Reports suggest that WWE is planning for Punk to face Rollins during the RAW Netflix debut episode on January 6th.
Dr. Chris Featherstone also revealed that fans in Chicago will get a special treat on December 29th during WWE’s Holiday Tour.
Punk is reportedly set to face Gunther in a Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at the event, which could potentially tease a future feud between the two.
This match marks a significant appearance for Punk, as it follows earlier rumors of him challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title at Survivor Series, which did not materialize.
Although WWE.com has yet to advertise Punk for the December 29th show, Gunther and other members of the RAW roster are listed. Punk previously wrestled his first two WWE matches back during last year’s Holiday Tour against Dominik Mysterio.
Speaking of Punk, he took a jab at AEW wrestler “Hangman” Adam Page during an interview following Saturday Night’s Main Event. The comments were featured in a video WWE shared of Punk speaking with Peter Rosenberg and Jackie Redmond.
The discussion turned to Koko B. Ware, with Rosenberg praising Koko’s “moveset”. Punk quickly dismissed the term, calling it “garbage internet wrestling talk” and criticizing those who use it, especially wrestlers. He stated:
“Don’t say moveset. It’s garbage internet wrestling talk. If you say that, you’re an idiot. Especially if you’re a wrestler and you say moveset, that 100% tells me that you don’t know what the hell you were doing.”

Fans connected this to a recent cryptic post by Hangman Page, where Page seemingly addressed Logan Paul for using his moves, writing:
“I hope the next person who is given the majority of my moveset to use in the ring is at least kind of cool.”
Many believe Punk’s comments were a veiled response to Page’s statement.
