Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.

• After The Rock, another WWF Legend might be returning soon. Hulk Hogan may have an increased presence on WWE television in the near future, following years of limited involvement. He made an appearance on RAW in January 2024 via video to celebrate 40 years of Hulkamania, where he teased a potential Royal Rumble appearance.

His last LIVE in-person appearance on WWE TV was on RAW’s 30th anniversary episode in January 2023.

This past Friday, Hogan appeared in a commercial for Saturday Night’s Main Event, sparking speculation about future appearances.

According to Fightful Select, discussions are ongoing for Hogan to feature in upcoming WWE events, although specific dates have not been confirmed. Additionally, Hogan’s Real American Beer was seen on a new WWE ring mat featuring multiple sponsors, set to debut soon.

However, tension between Hogan and Jesse Ventura could complicate their potential involvement in the same events. The animosity stems from 1986 when Ventura attempted to unionize WWF wrestlers, only for Hogan to inform Vince McMahon, derailing Ventura’s efforts.

• A fan asked “Big” Bronson Reed about the possibility of facing WWE Legend John Cena this year.

Reed said if Cena really considers himself the greatest of all time, then he must face him:

“Big match John must face me before he retires if he even considers to call himself the goat.

He has never experienced the TSUNAMI!”

Reed is currently out of action with a broken ankle. Reed previously noted that he plans to become World Champion by Christmas 2025.
