Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring NXT and The Rock.
• WWE Is Planning To Call-Up Former NXT North American Champion To The Main Roster
Tony D’Angelo may be headed to WWE’s main roster after a multi-year run in NXT, even as his storyline on the developmental brand continues to heat up.
According to PWN, WWE is currently considering a call-up for D’Angelo, who has been a fixture in NXT for over three years and is a former NXT North American Champion.
D’Angelo’s potential move comes on the heels of a dramatic turn of events at NXT Stand & Deliver 2025, where he and his faction, The Family, lost to Darkstate. The loss was made even more shocking when Stacks, D’Angelo’s longtime ally, turned heel on him mid-match.
Things escalated further on this week’s episode of NXT, when it was heavily implied that Stacks had orchestrated the murder of Luca Crusifino by leaving him in the desert. In response, Tony D’Angelo was seen putting Adriana Rizzo into a safe house—presumably for her protection.
While the current storyline continues to unfold on NXT, D’Angelo’s future may lie on a much larger stage if WWE moves forward with his main roster promotion.

• “He looks like a million dollars, he’s believable, he’s legitimate” – The Rock On RAW Star
On the RAW after WrestleMania 41, Bron Breakker became a Paul Heyman Guy and joined forces with Seth Rollins to take out Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
The Rock appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and praised what Breakker has done in WWE so far:
“Bron Breakker, I love what he’s doing lately. I feel he’s shown out and shown up. There is this maturation process when you come into the world of WWE. If you got a little bit of heat to you, good heat, and potential, the company will see that and they’ll start putting you in positions where we see not only how you react to those positions, but more importantly, how the fans react to it.
Bron has been put in these positions where he has risen to the occasion. I’m not surprised. He looks like a million dollars, he’s believable, he’s legitimate, and he comes from a hell of a bloodline in the Steiner family.
I was happy to see [him align with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman] and the way it went down.”
