• “WWE is simply terrible at that” – Former 24/7 Champion On Good Wrestlers Being Pushed

After Mustafa Ali asked for his release on Twitter and wasn’t granted it, he returned to WWE programming this week on RAW.

Ali pinned The Miz and began feuds with United States Champion Theory and Ciampa.

During an interview with Kevin Kellam, former WWE 24/7 Champion Mike Kanellis (who currently works in IMPACT Wrestling) talked about Ali’s return and said that WWE should push good wrestlers.

Below is what Mike said:

“My whole thing is, let the most talented people have the best jobs.

I think, recently we have been going in that direction. I do believe that AEW has done a terrific job of giving the best wrestlers the best spots. I think IMPACT has been doing a great job most of the time.

WWE is simply terrible at that. But I think everyone knows that I’m kind of beating a dead horse about that.

You have a guy like Ali and you send him home and you don’t do anything with him. Now they brought him back but you have a guy.

Clearly, this guy is one of the best on your roster. Why wouldn’t you use him? I think that needs to go away.”
