• WWE Issues Statement On The Company Possibly Being Sold

News broke out yesterday that Vince McMahon is planning to sell WWE. Today, it was announced that Vince is back on the Board of Directors.

However, Vince’s return doesn’t guarantee that the company is indeed getting sold.

WWE issued the following statement in a press release today:

“The Company intends to undertake a review of its strategic alternatives with the goal being to maximize value for all WWE shareholders.

There is no assurance that this process will result in a transaction.”

WWE’s co-CEOs Stephanie & Nick Khan, and Chief Content Officer Triple H issued the following statement regarding Vince:

“Today, we announce that the founder of WWE, Vince McMahon, will be returning to the Board. We also welcome back Michelle Wilson and George Barrios to our Board of Directors.

Together, we look forward to exploring all strategic alternatives to maximize shareholder value.”
