• WWE Legend Expected To Receive The Biggest Payday Offer In History For WrestleMania 43
The Rock has a big offer on the table from Saudi Arabia for a match at WrestleMania 43 in 2027, according to Andrew Baydala. However, The Great One is hesitant about it as it would most likely be his final match and he isn’t sure if he wants his retirement match outside the United States.
“The Rock is NOT wrestling at this year’s WrestleMania. The ‘big offer’ under discussion is for next year’s Mania 43 in Saudi Arabia, and there appears to be hesitation about proceeding, given that The Rock knows it would most likely be his last match.”
During an interview on Raffi Talks, The Rock was asked about these rumors and here’s what the 10-time World Champion said:
“I’m excited for the brand of WrestleMania. I’m excited for the Kingdom because that is a big show. I’m also excited not only for the brand, but I’m excited for our athletes to be able to participate in an event like that, and that is a global event. So I can’t wait. In terms of the conversations I’ve been having, it’s all good. It will always be good.”
In an update from the Wrestling Observer, The Rock is expected to receive the biggest payday offer in WWE history from Saudi Arabia for a match at WrestleMania 43.
The Rock last wrestled in WWE in 2024 in the main event of WrestleMania 40 – Night 1, where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Rock pinned Cody on that night.
The Final Boss returned to WWE programming in 2025 and was a major part of John Cena’s heel turn moment at Elimination Chamber, but he never appeared in that angle after that night.
The Rock will be almost 55 years old by the time WrestleMania 43 happens.
• AEW Wrestlers Want Tony Khan To Sign 2 Released WWE Wrestlers
While Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey) are currently fueling their tanks for an impending MLW debut, a much larger battle for their services has been brewing behind the scenes at AEW.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, a significant part of the AEW locker room spent the end of 2025 aggressively lobbying management to sign the duo.
The Coffey brothers, along with Wolfgang, were spotted backstage at this week’s AEW Dynamite in Orlando. While their presence was officially framed as a visit to friends, the fact that all three are currently in the U.S. on active visas has sent the rumor mill into overdrive.
This surge in interest comes as a redemption arc for them, who were abruptly cut by WWE in May 2025 despite internal rumors that a main roster call-up was once a done deal.
